Mom lesson #137

Never wake a sleeping baby.

Not if he's in his car seat in his room, been sleeping for an hour, it's past his bedtime and you think he'd sleep better in his crib 'cause he looks cramped and couldn't possibly be breathing well in that position.

Not if YOU'RE ready for bed and think YOU'LL sleep better if he's in his crib.

Not if you think he needs to be fed. (He'll let you know if this is the case)

Not if you think his diaper should be changed. (Again, he would let you know.)

Not if you're sure you can lift him out gingerly enough to ease him gently and peacefully in his crib.

No. Don't do it.

Another parenting lesson learned.

yeah. Do not do it! I still have trouble with this one... as what do you do when, now toddler, falls asleep in non removable car seat after sleeping 30 mins. Do not try to remove shoes if you are so lucky to get her out without waking and even laid in bed, do not remove shoes. Do not do it!
