6-month growth update

Luke had his 6-month appointment and shots today. I can't believe he's half a year old already! In some ways, that time seems so short, but in other ways, I feel like it's been forever since he was born! I look at photos of myself one year ago, and I think I look 10 years older now! That must be the lack of sleep and no suntan whatsoever.

But anyway, Luke now weighs 17 pounds 11 ounces. That's in the 55th percentile, so he's smack in the middle on weight.
I forgot his length measurements -- which I should start calling "height" because he likes to stand (assisted) so much -- but he's in only the 25th percentile for length/height.
His head, however, fulfills Brian's promise to me that "We Smiths have big heads." His head circumference is in the 75th percentile.
No wonder I have trouble getting some shirts over his noggin...
