Springtime

The weather is finally springlike, meaning cool and rainy one day, hot and sunny the next. We've gone from this:

It's fun watching our lilac bushes actually bloom this year. One of our baby evergreen trees in the front yard, however, was not so lucky. It has a severe case of frostbite from being buried under 4 feet of snow for three weeks. It is a brown little Charlie Brown stick tree right now. We'll see whether it lives or not.

But the rest of the yard is starting to look really nice.
