Compromise

As I am learning, married life presents many blessings and challenges.
We had our first holiday-decorating disagreement this week. It was regarding the color of the lights on the Christmas tree: Brian wants multicolored, I want all white.
Our compromise: Using strands with only two colors, red and white. The more I think about it, the prettier I think that will be! Luckily, we did agree no matter what, they should be of the twinkling variety.
