Note to self:
In the future, do not schedule any major events from Halloween until Christmas.
Next year, start your Christmas shopping in September.
And do not wait to send birthday invites until Thanksgiving. Send it out in mid-November. Or better yet, Halloween.
This year, I'm in denial that my baby won't be a "baby" anymore in a week and a half so I've procrastinated planning his party. But you only get one first birthday, so I guess I better put on my big-girl pants and get going with the planning!
