10 months

What is Luke up to these days?

Crawling (well, his frog-hopping version of it anyway), clapping his hands. Often he'll stop crawling to clap his hands, then crawl again. He loves to chase Gabby around the kitchen and gets mad when she runs away from him. He tries to escape when you're changing his diaper -- luckily our changing "station" is the floor.

He thinks it's fun to fling himself backwards on the couch, on our bed and in his crib. He's learned the hard floor is not a fun place to try this.

He sits up doing baby crunches like a champ. But it makes it more difficult for him to soothe himself back to sleep because the minute he realizes he's awake he sits up in his crib and sobs.

And he likes to sleep on his side or on his tummy with his butt in the air. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Up next for the little guy: TWO halloween parties to show off his costume, baptism in early November, outpatient surgery the day after to fix a minor birth defect (although I imagine a major freakout from his mom even though it's a "minor" procedure) and then in early December he turns one!
Busy couple months for us coming up!
