Milestones

I didn't mean to be so negative in my last post. I blame the exhaustion!

I suppose I can update you on the little guy's development. At 6 1/2 weeks old:

• He keeps his head mostly stable now, although when he's really tired, it bobbles around more.
• He can follow a toy rattle with his eyes slowly side to side.
• He's started to make more vowel sounds.
• On his tummy, he can lift his head and both back legs at the same time.
• He smiles a lot, although it still seems to be linked to gas. But I like looking at them all the same.
