Yard now is working!

I'm exhausted on the couch after a day of yard work.
It didn't start out that way. Mom and dad were here selling their wares at a festival, so they stayed in town with us to save some gas money and time. We said if they stayed a second night, it would be great if they could help us install an air conditioner in the bedroom. They definitely did that, so we'll be able to sleep comfortably for the rest of the summer.
They wound up also helping us mow and rake the lawn, put mulch around our new trees and bushes, plant two gardens, spread grass seed, go shopping for said materials and supply us with a real drill. There was probably more, but I'm too tired to recall at the moment.
It will be an early night to bed tonight! Plus, we'll be cool and comfy. Thanks, mom and dad!!
