Baby steps but no crawling

We've had a fairly eventful week with the baby. He is babbling more, having separation anxiety more, standing more with help and scooting forward and in circles (very slowly) on his butt while sitting up with his legs crossed.
No crawling, but he did manage to turn himself 180 degrees on his belly in the course of 20 minutes on Sunday. But that was under protest. He still hates tummy time while awake, but seems not to mind it while sleeping as I keep finding him on his tummy in the morning.

During one standing session (with my arm holding him steady in front), the baby decided to take a couple tiny steps toward his daddy. We both roared in response, which startled the baby and made him sit down. Oh well. "Baby steps," right? ;)
