Anyway, we also have been getting some work done on the house that needs to be done before winter. We had a rotting front door frame and an inefficient door that snow and wind just came right through and under. So, we added a new front door, frame and storm/screen door to protect the northwest-facing front door from those winter winds. Here's are before and after shots, we just need to paint the door and frame and new inside trim now:
